Objection Sustained

Posted in Have a look on January 21, 2008 by madihasaeed

After being OBJECTED by a friend of mine…….(Objection Sustained)…………….. I hereby STATE that the poem uploaded in the Category “MY SHAIRI” with the title “Mujhay ab Mohabbat Nahee Chahye” has nothing to do with what I personally think on the subject.

Its written to portray the feelings of a person betrayed in love, encompassing the anger and the distrust, while the opening lines expressing the will to move on.

I personally do not think this way.

I hope I have succesfully clarified the thing.

ufff………..bohat formal hogaya…………..ab theek hay……..Plz…….NO Misunderstandings allowed!!!

Despair

I kept asking for help,
screaming for help,
at the top of my voice,
but no one helped me,
no one believed I was in need of help,
and then exhuasted in despair I sat back,
stopped screaming,
hopeless,
believing no one would ever come to help me,
staying back the way I was,
no more asking for help,
I lay down,
hungry,
thirsty,
with all my energy lost,
and then some one came,
telling me to get up and run,
I,
un able to even sit up,
stared at the person who kept telling me to get up and run,
and then many people came,
some telling me to sit up,
some telling me to stand up,
some telling me to run,
and then all telling me to run,
run,
run,
run,
and I, who was unable to even sit up,
felt hopeful,
and believed I was being rescued,
stretched my hand for some one to lend me support,
and what I saw was many people around me,
all screaming,
run,
run,
run,
with their hands tied on their backs,
I,
the foolish one,
who thought they were there to support me,
got to know that,
their support was nothing but a mock,
only words,
and no action,
and then I,
the foolish one,
realized,
I would never get any help,
and the next moment I lay there dead.

What are we heading towards?

The night of 27th december brought with it a series of dreadful events.
Innocent people paid for the incident of Liaquat Bagh.
The word SECURITY was accompanied by a big question mark.
Vehicles and Properties of people were set on fire as if that is what they are meant for.
Jails were attacked and criminals were set free.
Statements and news coming from every where. Every channel on TV providing coverage of events.
But what still remains clear in the “sea of mishaps” is the episode of misfortune that was seen by my very own University.

FAST-NUCES (Karachi Campus) was burnt on the night of 27th dec 07.
What happened:
There are only two departments in our university’s Main Campus out of which
The whole computer science block was set on fire.
All the Furnitures, equipments and Computers were stolen from the Engineering Block.

Who did that:
It was done by more than a 100 people, who were they?
ofcourse nobody knows.

Had they been the so called “Mush Tayel Afraad”, both the blocks would have been set on fire.
Ofcourse it was a planned act of LOOT MAAR with more than a 100 people having enough vehicles to LOAD all the MAAL-E-GHANEEMAT

Is this what we got our Pakistan for?

One thing that we are sure of…………….is that neither the present government nor the one that is expected to form in the near future………………………….will solve our problems.

Then what?
Do we know why Pakistan was formed?
Do we know what we are supposed to do about it?

have a look at the following to findout

and remember that…………”The whole system has to be changed!!!”
and its You and I, the educated ones who have to change it.
